deWit Steps Down as Men's and Women's Alpine Ski Coach

BABSON PARK, Mass.—After leading the Babson College men to four straight national championship appearances and the women to their first regional championship berth since 1997 this past winter, Director of Athletics and Recreation Josh MacArthur announced on Friday afternoon that alpine ski head coach John deWit '04 has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Capalbo, Esposito Compete at NCAA Division III Championships

CANTON, N.Y.—Senior Marina Capalbo (Gainesville, Va.) came in 17th in the prelims of the women's 1500-meter run, while junior Dominic Esposito (Massapequa, N.Y.) sits in 17th place with 3,105 points in the decathlon after the opening day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at the Merrick-Pinkard Track & Field Complex on the campus of St. Lawrence University.

NCAA Division III Track & Field Championship Preview

THE SETUP: For the first time in school history, Babson College has two competitors at the NCAA Track & Field national championships. Senior Marina Capalbo qualified for the third consecutive year in the 1500-meter run, and junior Dominic Esposito, who became the first male in program history to earn a bid on Sunday, will compete in the decathlon. The prelims of the 1500 meters will take place on Thursday afternoon at 3:45 p.m., while the two-day decathlon starts on Thursday at 12 p.m. and will be completed on Friday afternoon.
