Decker Breaks School Record For Beavers At Larry Ellis Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J.—The Babson College men's and women's track & field team enjoyed a banner day on Friday afternoon at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University. First-year John Decker (Parkland, Fla.) broke his own school record in the 800-meter run, while seniors Marina Capalbo (Gainesville, Va.) and Mark Gulesian (Miami, Fla.) posted two of the program's top times in the 1500 meters.

Gonzalez, Weiss Lead Baseball Past Emerson, 12-1

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Senior Dillon Gonzalez (Beverly, Mass.) had three hits, including a triple, and drove in a career-high six runs as Babson College defeated visiting Emerson College, 12-1, to open a three-game New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) series on Friday afternoon at Govoni Field.

Softball Sweeps Clark, 5-2 and 5-1

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Senior Meghan Hayes (Robbinsville, N.J.) drove in a pair of runs and tossed a complete game in the opener, and first-year Ali Reilly (New Canann, Conn.) struck out a career-high 12 in game two as Babson College swept visiting Clark University in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) softball doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Alumni Field.
