Market Basket employees rally around ex-CEO

By Mary Whitfill, editor-in-chief On Friday, thousands of Market Basket employees continued the strange developments in the chain’s legal disputes, rallying around Arthur T. Demoulas, the recently fired CEO, in Tewksbury. Employees, customers, community members and rally organizers stood together to collectively demand the rehiring of the popular CEO. In attempts to have Demoulas reinstated, nearly 10,000 people gathered in the parking lot of the Market Basket in Stadium Plaza, the biggest rally since the protests began in June. Speare!

happinessandambition: Can anyone give me information on Northeastern’s speare Hall dorms ? Much appreciated. I lived in Speare my freshman year (which was FIVE years ago now, eek!) and LOVED it. It’s centrally located and has been upgraded since I last lived there so it’s even better now! Also, mail/packages are delivered in the basement of Speare which is super convenient bc you don’t have to worry about lugging any packages across campus like others who don’t have the luxury of living in Speare.  I hope you enjoy living there as much as I did! Enjoy every moment at Northeastern :)

An interview from 63 feet below the sea

Last week I had perhaps the best interview of my time here at Northeastern (it’s a toss up between this and the time I walked out with a bottle of homemade wine). It happened from the comfort of my office, but the person on the other end of the line was 1,500 miles south and 63 […]
